Dr. Eric Lai entered the University of Alberta and finished three years of undergraduate courses before being accepted into the dentistry program. After graduating in 2004 with with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he practiced in Edmonton seeing a variety of patients from all ages and with all sorts of concerns. Dr. Lai also had the opportunity to work at an emergency dental clinic to help people with sudden painful dental problems in the quickest and kindest manner he can.

Outside of work, Dr. Lai's time is mostly taken by his two very energetic children, and his wife. He also enjoys playing competitive badminton, volleyball, and dragon boating. Other hobbies include photography, eating, travelling, computers, and video games.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Wong became interested in the dental field during her elementary years. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2000, she went on to graduate school with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 2004. Dr. Wong has been an associate dentist at West End Dental Centre since her graduating year and is committed to gentle and patient-centered dental care. Dr. Wong has had the privilege in taking part in the Belize Mission Project, which is a Christ-centered ministry focused on providing dental services to those in rural Belize. Melissa has always had an interest in music, competing and performing in cello and piano, and she also received an Associate of The Royal Conservatory diploma in Cello. She has also performed for the purpose of fundraising for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, travelling and spending time with her husband, daughter and son.

Vanessa became a member of the Windermere Dental team in 2017 as a receptionist and later graduated as a Dental Assistant from KDM in 2018. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge and staying current with developments in the dental field. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children, and makes an effort to explore nature away from the city whenever possible.

Diana obtained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2003, followed by a Bachelor of Science specializing in Dental Hygiene in 2004 from the University of Alberta. With extensive experience in private practice since 2003, she has been a valued member of the Windermere Dental team since 2013. Outside of her professional commitments, Diana enjoys spending quality time with her family and two dogs.

Rachel has been committed to the dental profession since earning her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2009 and her Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Dental Hygiene in 2010. With over a decade of experience, she is deeply passionate about providing personalized care to each patient, empowering them to implement tailored oral health regimens that contribute to their overall well-being. Outside of the clinic, Rachel is a proud mother of two children. She enjoys traveling, staying active through fitness, and unwinding with a good movie.

Ting graduated from KDM Dental College in March 2023 and joined our team as a Dental Assistant. She is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and takes pride in helping patients feel at ease during their visits. Ting is fluent in both English and Mandarin, allowing her to assist a diverse range of patients. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys practicing yoga and traveling with her family.

Abbygail is a dedicated long-term patient who chose to pursue a career in the dental field in 2024. She began her journey with us as a receptionist in April 2024 and graduated from KDM as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2025. Abbygail enjoys dining with friends and spending quality time with her family and chihuahua.

Annabelle joined Windermere Dental in July 2024. She is a graduate of ABM College, where she earned a Dental Office Administration diploma. In her spare time, Annabelle enjoys spending time with her twin boys and exploring new places. She also values the opportunity to meet and engage with a diverse range of people.
